FAV CUPBOARD #3 ... Books - you all know I love the library 😁📚 I rarely buy books & when I do I like to pass them on. I feel like they would just get sad and lonely sitting on a bookshelf otherwise🤪 so unless it’s a reference type book I set them free. Do you struggle letting books go? Ermmmm yep - I also have cute little remote controller hooks on the inside of the cupboard door🤗🤭😂

AD- FAV CUPBOARD #2 ... My bedside drawer (ok technically not a cupboard 🤣) BUT look how pretty it is🌸... The key with any space is not to overfill it. Keep all items visible & only have the items that you use on a regular basis. I used to keep toiletries in my bathroom and wardrobe - but actually it’s so handy having them here. I can slather on all my lotions & potions while laying in bed. I always keep my book on the side so I remember to read it and put my phone away... I’m starting this one tonight 📘💕😴🛏

MY FAV CUPBOARD #1 - DVDS 📀 - Organised like a rainbow 🌈 because it makes finding the one you want super quick & easy. - TV unit is from @ikeauk and I love how it keeps everything hidden and clear (the door closes on this section of DVDS too).

I am pleased to say I completed and passed my professional facial course today! Such a fun, informative and thorough course that has given me so much practical information to take away and build on. @npbeautytraining was a fabulous & patient teacher. - Thank you @hannaholistics for letting me practice on your face ! 😂 You did a fab job on mine. - This next year for me is all about trying new things & pushing myself into different learning environments ✨💪⭐️

Gosh - the days and weeks just seem to be flying in! Not sure what our plans are today but I hear 👧🏼 conspiring with 🧑🏼 to take her swimming. - I’m still not 💯 about the gram since my June break. AD Do you like gardening? I am so pleased with how my plants are growing this year. 🥔🍅🥒🌱💦🌸10 weeks in and the raised bed is fit to bursting with lushness! I am still very much a novice at this - and learning what I like to grow (and eat!). This year is a bit of a test on placement, but I quite like the wild/natural look - no neat rows here! AD - Our Raised bed is a DIY kit from a previous gifted collaboration with @woodblocx super impressive company 👌

Who’s getting ready for a new routine change after the Summer? Are your little ones starting playgroup, nursery or school🙋‍♀️?! Are you nervous/excited/scared? I’m not quite sure I’m ready for the amount of time I’ll spend walking back and forth 🤪 but I am excited for my girls and looking forward to seeing how they grow and develop in their new environments 👧🏼👶🏼📚🎨🎻🎭 💕

Monday Mood 👌💕🙏 House all clean & tidy for the week ahead. Clutter free & organised homes are quicker and easier to keep clean & fresh 👌✅✨ No tricks on this page - I just don’t have too much STUFF.

AD I had such a FAB day yesterday at the #edinburghclimatefestival It was so busy and great to spend time with real 3D people(!) - spreading the organic beauty message which I am so passionate about. - Lots of lovely people came by to sample our organic coffee body scrub workshop with @organiccabinet The little bee pine cone crafts were super cute @_natural.mama_ @sandi.haines and the therapists in our tent DID NOT STOP all day - @health_wellbeing_fife @hannaholistics istics 👏💪💕🌱 Super pleased with our tent from @activitydelivered it was the perfect setting for all our Neal’s Yard Remedies Organic aromatherapy loveliness! Thank you to everyone who made the time to come and say hey ! 👋

Do you have social media time boundaries? I had most of June ‘offline’, it was nice to disconnect and not have pressure to post & update continuously. Although it did screw the algorithms🤨 & I panicked about not ‘keeping up’. - I feel constantly conflicted about the time I spend on my phone. I’m not sure what’s the ‘right’ amount of time, but I know I spend more than I want to on it. I do have moments where I think I might just delete my account 🤭 but I know I would miss it too much. I need to get back into a healthy balance that’s right for me. - What are your top tips for for finding screen life balance?📝

🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️Who wants a garage tour? - It’s not ALL about the fancy storage gadgets & hooks ... it really is about owning LESS. - However it is very pleasing to have a home for everything & clear floor space ... if in doubt add a hook I say 👌😁✅

🌎🌍🌏To understand anything about the PRESENT we need to understand the PAST. - The World is such a huge complicated place & there are so many things to understand with overlapping ideas, conflicts of interest & contradictions that is so hard to make sense of. I am in no way educated in politics so enjoy reading books about it when I can. - I saw this book on the shelf about Global Politics and I just thought - yep 👌that’s right up my street. - Written by Tom Marshall (well respected and well known foreign affairs reporter) the book covers 10 countries & the history behind each one. Each chapter has a handy map 😂😁 which was also super helpful. Based around geography- how ‘successful’ you are is often down to rivers/sea access, how protected you are by mountains, rich in natural resources, where boundary lines are (and why they were drawn that way) & whether tropical diseases are a problem or not. Each chapter quickly goes through the countries beginning, through to its struggles & also makes an educated guess at perhaps where it is heading. Interesting points are made with regards to colonialism, Brexit, Trump & the Mexican Wall, racism, white supremacy, future economies, climate change & where future conflicts and wars may occur.

‘I bet your garage is FULL with all your hidden clutter!’ - ‘Erm nope’ 🤷‍♀️😜💁‍♀️ ... and yes I have a chandelier in my garage, I like to be that little bit EXTRA 👌

Busy Saturday making pressed flower 🌸 pictures, garden centre for more seeds 👩‍🌾, extortionately priced fruit picking 🍓 (you can’t put a price on memories apparently🙃) ... sadly rain has hit so no bbq or evening sunshine drinks for us. This is a proper flower press #gifted from a grandparent, you can sandwich flowers between paper and use heavy books to weigh it down instead ✅ works the same.

FINALLY - a summer activity that kids can do that doesn’t involve craft mess AND allows for a bedtime mummy treat. EDIBLE FLOWER ICECUBES 🌸🌺❄️🥃 Top Tip - boil water and allow to cool for ‘clearer’ ice. We used calendula petals, violets, borage, lemon balm & strawberry mint. Place flowers facing down in an ice cube tray & add a small layer of water, freeze, then top up and freeze again. So pretty & perfect for a G&T (although I’m having plain tonic tonight as my body needs a rest! 🤭)
